Jason Janosov, LPC
Psychotherapist and Director of Clinical Services
Jason Janosov is a Licensed Professional Counselor and the acting Director of Clinical Services. During his tenure at Espenshade Counseling, Jason has been instrumental in implementing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy into EC programming and provides ongoing consultation, training and supervision to all EC direct service staff. He is also an adjunct professor at PCOM where he earned his Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology.
Prior to joining Espenshade Counseling, Jason worked as a Primary Therapist at The Lenape Valley Foundation where he developed expertise in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
He has also received training in Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and the Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS). His primary treatment modalities include Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Emotion Efficacy Therapy (EET).
As a therapist, Jason employs a psychologically flexible and compassionate approach. Alongside a diverse skill set, his non-judgmental stance and ability to meet people where they are at help him to create an environment of safety and trust.
